The Universal Clay Mitt performs the same job as a clay bar, except it works a lot better. Our clay mitt is manufactured from microfiber, then a rubberized polymer coating is carefully applied. This rubberized polymer coating "shaves off" contaminants as you clean your boat with the mitt and a quality wash, such as Nautical One Ceramic Wash & Wax. Use the Universal Clay Mitt to remove stubborn contaminants that a regular wash does not, and also use it to prep the hull for application of a wax or sealant.
